Updating hosts files

Hello,

I'm a newbie and I did my first update of my hosts files. I did not save a backup before updating. :oops:

I didn't want to include bluetack & MalwareDomainsList but I forgot to uncheck them before updating. Is there any way to revert back to my original hosts files?

Welcome notverytechy.

Under %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc, there should be a file named hosts.bak. Open it in notepad and see if that's your original hosts file.

Hi rloureiro,
Yes, I've found it and it's my original hosts file. I finally figured out how to revert back to my original hosts file through import hosts function. Now I can update again excluding bluetack & MalwareDomainsList.
