Hi, I just installed Host man v2.0.1 and a little confused, so a couple of questions-:
I am not sure whether Host man is enabled or disabled, should it be green or red for enabled?
Clicking check for update in tools states updates 'Not available', am I doing something wrong here?
I wouldn't mind a little more clarity on checking resolved host name, I click resolve and type the name in the box and the IP pops up in the right and window (think I've got that right).
Thank's David

Welcome David.

It should be green to indicate the HOSTS file is active.

You are running a very down level release of HostsMan so go to Add/Remove Programs and un-install it then get the latest version 3.1.57:

By the way I only use hpHOSTS and MVPS HOSTS files as they are all I need.
Please ask any other questions you have.
Hi, thanks YoKenny will see to that update straight away and thanks for the info after a little experimenting I discovered that I should have green.
The OS is XP pro with Sp2, Host man. is a great little program, thanks for your time and reply.
Davy
I have two systems with one being XP Home and XP Pro both with SP3 and they are both running fine.
SP3 has been out for almost 5 months now so I recommend that you update and Patch Tuesday is November 11th which will have some new updates no doubt.
